Verónica Trevisan believes that being an entrepreneur is to have the vision to see a business opportunity behind a good idea.
Exercising her business acumen she founded Wester to support small business owners by providing consulting, and administrative and marketing services so they can concentrate on growing their businesses. She also has a blog in Spanish named Ñapegados where she shares information and resources with the Spanish-speaking community and a column in El Mundo Newspaper where she writes about technology.
Verónica has been recognized by the Economic Growth Business Incubator (EGBI) as 2015 Volunteer of the Year. This organization provides emerging and existing businesses owners tools to establish and grow their business through education, business plan assistance, and consulting. Ms Trevisan, who is an EGBI graduate client, assists the organization when additional staffing is needed at events and expos and has worked on projects to translate curriculum and communications into Spanish.
She was one of the finalists of 2016 Capital of Texas Award under the Facebook Rising Star category; recognition granted by the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of commerces
Dedicated to service she also volunteers in helping adults with disabilities better manage their finances through a community service, Family Eldercare, since 2010. By volunteering, she supports the vision that seniors and adults with disabilities benefit from living in a compassionate community with dignity and as much independence, as possible.
